Flame Yoga

Flame Yoga:
80 Minutes - Donation Requested

The beginning, hot yoga class is where to begin our Twist series. It is a set 31 postures done to soothing music.

Flame is designed to increase healthy digestion and elimination by teaching proper breathing, alignment and letting the body sweat. The postures (asana) systematically rebuild balance in the body to increase overall energy and detoxification. Doing this class in room heated to 95 degrees helps tight muscles and tendons relax, mitigating the chances of beginners overstretching and thereby more quickly increasing flexibility. 

This series is the foundation of Twist Yoga, and by engaging you in a heated room, helps pave the way for the concentration needed for the more advanced series' available from Twist.  Flame is a beginning class that is also taught outside the 9 week course, weekly at Twist.

Breeze Yoga

Breeze Yoga:
80 Minutes - Donation Requested

The next step, flow yoga based series that focuses on the ujjayi breath creating a flow (vinyasa) from one posture to the next. 

This cardiovascular, strengthening series tones the muscles, heals the organs and cleanses the systems of the body.  The extra attention to the breath calms the nervous system which creates relaxation while we utilize the mantra:

"Father, Son and Holy Ghost." 

This class is for beginners and advanced practitioners alike.  If you are a beginner, this class builds into more advanced postures and acts as a transition between the Flame and Stone series'.  Breeze is a beginning flow class that is also taught outside the 9 week course, weekly at Twist.

This class is a lot of fun, and keeps on moving.  Recommended donation to download class is $12.00

Wave Yoga

Wave Yoga:
60 Minutes in Studio Only

This class is a silent class; it will be the same sequence of postures (asanas) as the Breeze or Flame class, done to only music with no instruction. 

This series is practiced at Twist yoga during the 9 week transformation course. Antiqua will practice (lead) the Breeze or Flame series with you, with no spoken instruction. You will move smoothly, and be able to add to your own practice or advance as you like, this hour and a half will be set to soothing music and really build your focus.

In Wave you are your own instructor.  Through wave you will build your yoga confidence - realizing you are your own best instructor.  Developing a personal home practice is supported in Wave.

Bamboo Yoga

Bamboo Yoga: 
60 Minutes

Bamboo is a gentle class where you will begin learn to express your inner thoughts and prayers through asana practice. This class is accompanied by a wonderful Christian music and incorporates Christain meditation techniques.

This gentle class focuses on releasing the mind and enjoying each posture as your powerful massaging breath relaxes the body and creates the space for healing.  The room is heated to a comfortable 80 degrees to prevent injury and promote circulation.

Come and learn how to pray using your entire body! This class will deepen your faith and your relationship with Jesus.

Stone Yoga

Stone Yoga: 
90 Minutes in Studio Only

Are you ready to advance your practice, take both your postures and your focus to the next level?  If so this series is for you. 

This is Twist's advanced series during class students will be using their ujjayi breath to warm the body and focus the mind as we embrace both familiar and new postures in a whole new way.  This class will introduce advanced yoga postures and challenge a graduating 9 week course participant to strech their minds and bodies to a whole new level.

You'll learn to use your locks to increase energy and relax into each pose.  If you are ready to bring your yoga to a new level join the 9 week transformation course and deepen your practice both on and off the mat.
